HILLTIP IceStriker 4000AM Medium Truck Spreader

The spreaders of the IceStriker 3000 & 4000 series are ideal for medium trucks starting from 7.5 tons.

These spreaders come standard with road-dependent dosing (g/sqm) [integrated GPS antenna], a manual spreading mode, a vibration motor, double-walled construction for optional pre-wetting, and an intuitive control panel with a simple interface and numerous adjustment options.

Numerous additional features are optionally configurable at the factory and can also be retrofitted. These spreaders are also available in 24V versions. For municipal use, the adjustable spreading geometry from the control panel is particularly interesting. The optional storage system allows for easy storage of the spreader when not in use and for interim use of the base vehicle, even during the winter season.

An additional option is the pre-wetting module [see the brine system section] with a dual pump unit and nozzle at the end of the feed shaft. This allows pre-wetting of the spreading material (up to 12l/min), enhancing the effectiveness of the road salt and increasing the efficiency of salt usage. When the pre-wetting module is installed, it is recommended to include the 12m hose reel with hand sprayer to prophylactically treat critical points (e.g., stairs, building entrances) with brine. Additionally, the spreader can be equipped with a spray bar, enabling area treatment with a spray width of 2 to 5 meters from the internal brine tank (up to 25l/min).

This makes the spreader a true combination spreader, providing professional application for any weather condition – also for watering in the summer!
